Project status transition rules

• • Status "Active": 

  A status indicating active work on the project - creation and decomposition of PIs (all new PIs are "not defined," when transitioning from "On hold," all PIs become "not defined"). 

  From Active to On hold: Transition can happen at any time without specific conditions. 

  • All PIs become "not defined." 

  • Tasks in "Done" remain in the "Done" state. 

  • Tasks in "To do," "Doing," and "Review" are removed from their stages. 

  From Active to Completed: Mandatory condition - all tasks are in the "Done" state. 

  • Transition is prohibited if at least one PI is "not defined." 

  • Status "On hold": 

  Transition to this status is manual. Work is paused. 

  From On hold to Active: No specific conditions for transition. 

  • PIs return to "not defined." 

  From On hold to Completed: Transition is prohibited. 

  • Status "Completed": 

  The transition to this status is manual. This status indicates that work on the project is finished. All PIs in this status are "defined." 

  A mandatory condition for transitioning to "Completed" status - all tasks are in the "Done" state, and all PIs are "defined." 

  From Completed to Active: No specific conditions for transition. 

  • Reopening the project is allowed - everything returns to the same state in which it was completed, i.e., 

  • PIs are "defined." 

  • Tasks are in "Done." 

  From Completed to On hold: Transition is prohibited.
