Project - a temporary enterprise aimed at creating a unique product, service, or outcome. It involves a set of time-limited actions directed toward solving a problem or achieving a specific goal.
Project Statuses:
Status "Active":
A status indicating active work on the project - creation and decomposition of PIs (all new PIs are not defined).
Status "On hold":
- It is possible to create a PI.
- It is possible to create a link between a PI and an Epic.
- It is possible to decompose an Epic.
- It is not allowed to transition to "is defined."
- Any changes to project details and data (names, descriptions, attributes of all entities) are allowed.
- Establishing a link between a task created to fix a defect and a PI is not allowed.
- All PIs are in the "not defined" status.
Status "Completed":
- Transition to this status is manual.
- A status indicating that work on the project is finished. All PIs in this status are defined.
- A mandatory condition for transitioning to the "Completed" status is that all tasks are in the "Done" state and all PIs are defined.
- Creating new PIs is not allowed.
- Continuing the decomposition of PIs is not allowed.
- No changes can be made to project details and data (names, descriptions, attributes of all entities).
User Actions:
- Creation and editing (title, description, start date, planned completion date) can be done at any time, but only in the "Active", “On hold” status.
- Decomposition can be done at any time, but only in the "Active", “On hold” status.
- Transitions between statuses must follow the project's status change rules.
- Deleting the PROJECT is possible only in the "Active" status, provided there are no defined Product Increments in the project.
