Pipeline is a standardized sequence of executing technological tasks that implement typical requirements.
1. Create a Pipeline (by default, the system creates a Pipeline with one stage).
1.1 Click on "Create Pipeline."
1.2 Define the title and color of the Pipeline.
2. Define the title and estimates for the stage. The estimates for the stage will be automatically determined based on the estimates of tasks created for this Pipeline. The user has the option to change the estimates for the stage at any time. Estimates for a specific task can be modified by the user at any time (on all workflow stages except "Done").
3. Link the required competence (skill + level) needed to perform tasks at this stage (visual hint for the user - the stage will be colored with the skill's color defined on the Skills screen).
4. Create the next stage:
4.1 Click on "Create stage."
4.2 Repeat the actions from points 2 and 3.
5. Create or modify the sequence of stages. The sequence of stages in the pipeline automatically creates incoming and outgoing dependencies between tasks in the Solution Item.
!!! Customization option:
For each Pipeline stage, the user has the option to reassign the workflow through which tasks will progress in this technological pipeline. Regardless of any previously created or default-assigned workflow for a skill defined in this stage, the workflow defined on the "Pipelines" screen will take priority for this Pipeline stage.
6. After creating the necessary number of stages, go to the "Solution item categories" screen to establish a connection between the created Pipeline and the solution item category.
