The task is in the workflow stages when the Iteration is in the "Is defined" state.
The task has the following defined:
-
Required Competence: Skill + Level
-
Effort estimation (Efforts)
The task is awaiting assignment to an executor.
The task is in one of the following stages:
AWAITING (if the task has incoming dependencies and its execution will start only after the completion of predecessor tasks. The task is only included in the assignment algorithm once work on the predecessor is completed.)
READY TO DO (if the task has no predecessors)
The task has been assigned to an executor, but they still need to start working on it.
The task is in the READY TO DO stage.
The task waiting for the executor to start working on it is displayed to the executor on their INBOX workspace under the ASSIGNED tab.
The task is in progress by the executor.
The task transitions to the DOING stage when the executor works on it on their INBOX workspace.
The task is displayed to the executor on their INBOX workspace under the ACTIVE tab.
Time tracking for the executor's work on the task begins.
The executor blocks the task.
The executor can block the task while working on it in the DOING stage. Blocking involves creating a blocking task, which means making an incoming dependency for the task (on the INBOX screen).
The blocked task is returned to the AWAITING stage (the task has incoming dependencies, and its execution will start only after the completion of the predecessor task).
The system does not reassign the blocked task to another executor.
The blocking task remains in the READY TO DO stage (waiting for assignment to an executor or with an assigned executor, waiting for them to start working on it).
The blocked and blocking tasks are displayed to the executor on their INBOX workspace under the BLOCKED tab.
Task completed by the executor.
For workflows with unique Quality Management Process (QMP) stages:
When a task is marked as completed by the executor on their INBOX workspace (displayed under the ON REVIEW tab), it transitions to the Quality Management Process (QMP) stage. The task awaiting quality review is then displayed to the reviewer on their INBOX workspace under the TO REVIEW tab.
For workflows without unique QMP stages:
When the executor marks a task completed on their INBOX workspace, it transitions to the DONE stage. The task, which is now implemented, requires no further action from team members.
It is displayed to the executor on their INBOX workspace under the DONE tab.
The task undergoes a quality review
The task is in the QMP stage, which may include unique sub-stages created by the user based on the industry, internal company policies, or the need for additional quality control measures for tasks and project objectives.
The task goes through all the created sub-stages of quality review in the order specified by the user until it is fully approved by the reviewer or multiple reviewers as completed.
The task is displayed to the reviewer on their INBOX workspace under the TO REVIEW tab, awaiting the reviewer's assessment of its quality.
The reviewer blocks the task
The reviewer can block the task during the QMP stage. Blocking refers to creating a blocking task, which means making an incoming dependency for the task (on the INBOX screen).
The blocked task is returned to the AWAITING stage (the task has incoming dependencies, and its execution will only start once the work on the predecessor task is completed).
The system does not reassign the blocked task to another performer.
The blocking task remains in the READY TO DO stage (waiting for assignment to a performer or with an assigned performer waiting for them to start working).
The blocked and blocking tasks are displayed to the performer on his INBOX screen under the BLOCKED tabs.
The task is returned for revision to the performer
The reviewer returns the task for revision - the system moves the task to the READY TO DO stage, meaning the task is ready for re-execution/revision by the same team member assigned as the performer.
The task is displayed to the performer on their INBOX screen under the RETURNED and ASSIGNED tabs, waiting for the executor to start working on it.
The system does not reassign the task to another performer.
The task is implemented
The task marked as approved by the reviewer on their INBOX screen transitions to the DONE stage. At this stage, the task is considered implemented, meaning no further action is required from team members.
The task is displayed to the performer on their INBOX screen under the DONE tab.
