Registered users in the system, grouped together to accomplish business tasks of a specific project/product/company.
In a team, there can be a single performer (if a user assigns a team with only one person to a Solution Item and defines additional QMP stages in the workflow where tasks from that Solution Item are assigned, it is necessary to define a separate skill for the QMP stage. Otherwise, in such a situation, there won't be a reviewer available because the task is reviewed either by another performer with the same competency or by a performer with a higher competency. However, the performer of the task cannot be the reviewer for it.)
- A Solution Item (SI) can exist without a team, in which case the system will select performers from those who are not part of any team (according to the selected criteria for assigning performers).
- If a team is assigned to an SI, the performers for the tasks will be selected from those who are part of the team (according to the selected criteria for assigning performers).
Rules for assigning a team to an SI:
❌It's not possible to assign multiple teams to one SI.
✅One team can be assigned to multiple SIs for sequential or parallel work (if there are dependencies).
✅Teams can be assigned/removed at any time.
If there are technical tasks (Task) in progress (DOING, REVIEW workflow stages) during the changes, the system doesn't change the assigned performers.
- Assigning a team to perform tasks in an SI is a mandatory condition for launching the automated performer assignment algorithm.
