The product is a means of delivering value. It has specific users or customers. A product can be a service, a physical product, a complex of information systems, or something more abstract. Ultimately, it is a tangible result of production (economic) activity with a specific value.
A project is an activity, and the product is the result of this activity.
Each product in the system has a business weight.
Business Weight Product represents the prioritization expressed in a numerical value. From a business goal perspective, it is determined based on the significance or importance of a specific product or project component. This may involve analyzing the product's impact on financial metrics, the company's strategic goals, customer satisfaction, and other aspects related to business objectives.
Assessing a product's business weight is a crucial stage in project management. It allows for prioritization, resource allocation, and focusing the team's efforts on products that align most with the organization's strategy and goals. It also influences the system's algorithms in distributing the order of work execution (planning and assigning performers for implementing technical tasks and defect resolution).
Stages of the product lifecycle:
- Active Stage: This is the active phase of the lifecycle, during which the creation, development, market introduction, and other active stages of product development take place. The product is created by default in this stage.
Actions:
- Creating and editing Subsystem, Capability, Epic, and subsequent decomposition elements.
- Creating and editing Project and subsequent decomposition elements.
Transition to the "Completed" stage:
- A mandatory condition for transitioning to the "Completed" stage is that all projects are completed (in the "Completed" status).
- Completed Stage: Eliminating the product from the company's production program. The transition to this status is manual.
Actions:
- Creating and editing Subsystem, Capability, and subsequent decomposition elements is impossible.
- Creating and editing the Project and subsequent decomposition elements is impossible.
- No changes can be made to the details and data of the product (names, descriptions, attributes of all entities).
Transition to the "Active" stage is possible.
User actions:

- Editing data
