Solution Item categories

SOLUTION ITEM - the result of purposeful work performed within a specific set of technical tasks. It can be decomposed into technical tasks (Task) at any time.

A Solution Item can be linked with other input/output dependencies (by sequence of execution) or be an autonomous element of decomposition.

The user has the ability to automate task creation - creating a pipeline for each Solution Item. The connection between the Solution Item and the pipeline is established through the belonging of the Solution Item to a specific category.

The category of a Solution Item is a grouping of Solution Items unified by common characteristics and rules. This category is associated with a production type (Pipeline) and can be predefined or modified during the project's progress.

The Solution Item category enables you to:

• Define specific parameters for a group of tasks.
• Plan and manage tasks and Pipeline stages considering these parameters.

Changes to the Solution Item category can influence the distribution of tasks and resources in the future, while retaining all past project work processes intact.

• Creating, editing Solution Item category/subcategory at any time.
• Creating a link between Solution Item category and pipeline.
• Deleting Solution Item category/subcategory.
