Executor: The performer assigned either automatically by the system or through manual selection by the user. If the user sees a team member's name in the "executor" field, it means the executor has received the task for work.
Preferred Executor: The executor chosen by the user as their preference. If the user sees a team member's name in the "preferred executor" field but not in the "executor" field, it indicates that the executor has not yet received the task for work.
- The skills and competence level of the preferred executor may not necessarily match those defined for the task. The condition is to choose only from the team assigned to the Solution Item where the task is located.
Capabilities and limitations
- Choosing the preferred executor cancels the assigned executor.
- If a task is already assigned to the preferred executor:
✅If the preferred executor has not started working on it, the system may remove them from a task assigned earlier or assign them to the current task after completing the one assigned earlier. The system selects the most optimal option based on current auto-scheduling algorithms and considering the business weight of each level: Product, Subsystem, Capability, Epic. The same applies if a team member is chosen as the preferred executor for multiple tasks.
✅If the preferred executor is working on the task, the system will assign them to the next task after completion of the current one.
✅If the preferred executor is the reviewer for a task in the QMP stage, assign them a new task based on current auto-scheduling algorithms. In this case, the priority to pick up a task returned for revision or newly assigned remains at the discretion of the executor.
✅If the preferred executor is assigned to another task and that task is returned for revision from the QMP stage, assign them to the new task after completing the current one based on current auto-scheduling algorithms.
❌Changing the executor is prohibited if the task is in the QMP stage.
❌Changing the executor is prohibited if the task is completed.
