Moving a task to another Solution Item

Mandatory conditions for moving a task:

• the task has no incoming or outgoing dependencies.

Rules for moving a task:

• PROJECTS:

Status Active - transfer according to the rules of movement between Product Increments

✅ Status On hold

❌ Status Completed

• PRODUCT INCREMENT:

✅ Product Increment is in the state "not defined."

Product Increment is defined:

✅ The task is in "To Do" without an assigned executor.

Task is in "To Do" with an executor:

✅ If the Solution Item to which the task is moving is associated with the same team - no blocking. If the Solution Item is not associated with a team, and the assigned executor is also free (without a team) - no restrictions.

✅ If there are differences in the assigned team composition between the Solution Item from which the task is being moved and the Solution Item to which the task is being moved, the executor is removed.

Task is in "Doing" or "Review":

✅ If the Solution Item to which the task is moving is associated with the same team - no blocking. If the Solution Item is not associated with a team, and the assigned executor is also free (without a team) - no restrictions.

❌ If there are differences in the assigned team composition between the Solution Item from which the task is being moved and the Solution Item to which the task is being moved, the transfer is not possible.

❌ Moving a task in "Done" status is not possible.

If the Product Increment from which the task is moving is defined, and the Product Increment to which the task is moving is not defined:

✅ The task is removed from the stages (To Do, Doing, Review), and assignments are canceled.
